500 MW unit of Indira Gandhi STPS to be ready soon

The first unit of 500 MW of Indira Gandhi Super Thermal Power Plant at Jharli in Haryana will be ready for synchronisation within the next two and a half months. The plant has an estimated capacity of 1,500 MW and is being executed by Aravali Power Company, a JV between NTPC, Haryana Power Generation Corporation Ltd (HPGCL) and Indraprastha Power Generation Company Ltd (IPGCL).
