BHEL to build plant in Odisha

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) will set up a Rs 1,600 crore worth 250 MW thermal power plant in Odisha, as per an order placed by NTPC-SAIL Power Company, a JV between NTPC and Steel Authority of India. The coal-based thermal unit will be set up at Rourkela power project on EPC basis. BHEL´s activities include design, engineering, manufacturing, supplying, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of the thermal power plant.
