BHEL to invest Rs 90 bn in JV power projects

BHEL is planning to form JVs in state power projects, which would generate revenues and also additional business for the PSU. The company plans to invest about Rs 3,000 crore in these JVs over a period of four years depending on the schedule of the projects. These power plants will either be coal-based or gas-based and will commence as soon as they get the linkage to the raw material.
