DPIL to supply 400 kV line conductors

Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and SMO-SPIC has awarded contract to supply 400 kV D/C power conductors to Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd (DPIL). The orders from PGCIL is for the 2,000 km Kashipur-Roorkee transmission line associated with the Northern Region Strengthening Scheme-XXI, and the 267 km Tuticorin JV-Madurai transmission line at coastal energy being executed by SMO-SPIC.
