GVK plans expansion

GVK Power and Infrastructure Ltd plans to expand the 400 MW plant at Jegurupadu and 800 MW plant at Gauthami, both in Andhra Pradesh in 2010. The company is likely to have a capital expenditure of Rs 5,000 crore to execute these projects as merchant plants.
