Government provides electricity to 105 villages

One hundred and five more villages in India now have access to electricity, adding up to a total of 7,654. Out of these, 33 villages are in Assam, 23 in Bihar, 12 in Jharkhand, six in Arunachal Pradesh, nine in Rajasthan, five in Chhattisgarh, 12 in Uttar Pradesh, one each in Manipur and Himachal Pradesh, and three in Odisha. The government has set a target of providing electricity to 18,452 villages by May 1, 2018.
