IEDCL aims at 15,000 MW power capacity in six years

Power arm of IL&FS, IL&FS Energy Development Company (IEDCL), is planning to set up 15,000 MW of capacity in the next six years. The company has already prepared the groundwork for projects for a capacity of 4,500 MW, including securing approvals and raising funds.The company also plans to finish the groundwork of at least 5,000 MW in the next few years. IEDCL has two projects that are in advanced stages of implementation.
