Indian Power cos to invest in Turkey

Reports suggest that Tata Power, Reliance, Lanco, GMR, Essar and state-run NTPC are mulling investments in Turkey, which aims for mega 125-GW installed power capacity by 2023. The installed capacity of Turkey, as on 2012, was 57,058 MW, and expects domestic companies to contribute significantly in achieving the 125 GW target. $100 billion is expected to be invested for this target in the next 10 years with India contributing 15 per cent of the total investment.
