New power project to benefit J&K inhabitants

Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Chief Minister Omar Abdullah recently inaugurated a power project in the state. This project is expected to benefit about 100,000 inhabitants in the Mur and Raipur constituencies J&K. The 50 mva capacity power grid station at Ponicheck is part of the R-APDRP project that aims to reduce transmission and distribution losses in the state by about
