Phillips Carbon plans capacity expansion

Phillips Carbon Black Ltd (PCBL) plans to invest Rs 500 crore for capacity expansion and routine operations, over the next 18 months. The capacity of its Mundra carbon black facility in Gujarat would be increased by 50,000 tonne. In Vietnam, PCBL is setting up a carbon black plant through a joint venture with three Vietnamese state-controlled tyre makers.
