Telangana to float tenders for 1,000-MW solar park

The Telangana Government has plans to float tenders for the proposed 1,000-MW solar power park in Mahbubnagar district. This project is expected to be one of the biggest solar parks in the country. The state is now keen on harnessing all sources of renewable energy to plug the energy shortfall besides meeting the growing demand.
