Thermax to venture in renewable energy

Pune-based Thermax is planning to enter the solar, biomass and geothermal sources of energy. The company has initiated a solar project near Pune, in association with the Department of Science and Technology. The Rs 13-crore investment is to electrify the village by using an indigenously developed solar-cum-biomass fuelled technology.
