UP Power Corp to set up new substations worth Rs 1,100 cr
Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation is setting up 522 new substations of 33/11 KV across the state. These substations, to be set up with an investment of Rs 1,098 crore, are low capacity units primarily catering to households and markets. They are vulnerable to frequent tripping due to overloading.
They are being set up at Saharanpur, Meerut, Moradabad, Aligarh, Agra, Kanpur, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Bareilly, Lucknow, Faizabad, Devipatan, Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Mirzapur, Varanasi and Allahabad divisions.
