Welspun Energy (WEL) has commissioned a 15 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Rajasthan. This project is the first of
the three projects totalling 50 MW that WEL’s subsidiary had won under competitive bidding for batch-2, Phase-I of national solar mission. The projects, coming up in Jodhpur district, are expected to generate a total electricity capacity of 90 mn kWh per year.
