Work on KPCL power plant to begin by Dec
The construction work for the 1,600 MW power plant by Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd (KPCL) in Chhattisgarh is likely to begin by December 2010. The state government has allotted 1,260 acre for the project.
KPCL and Larsen and Toubro Ltd have signed a joint venture agreement for this project which entails an investment of Rs 6,000 crore.
