300-unit housing projects to be launched

The Haryana government has launched a pilot housing project in Krishnanagar (Shimla) for the construction of 300 residential houses at Rs 34 crore under the Rajiv Awas Yojna. Under the scheme, a community centre, park, library, old age home, dispensary and a de-addiction centre will be constructed. Also, total of 87 earmarked slum habitations will be covered.
