Bharat Light buys stake in SunEdison's project

Bharat Light and Power has picked up stake in SunEdison’s Gandhinagar rooftop project of 2.5 MW. The grid-connected roof-top solar project is the first of its kind in the country as the owners of the roof and of the project are different. Under this rent-a-roof model, the roof owner gets a share of income from the solar plant.
