CCC solar plant to go on stream in Jan 2012

An ISO certified company Consolidated Construction Consortium (CCC) is set to commence generation from its 5 MW solar photovoltaic power project in January 2012. CCC has achieved financial closure for the Rs 55 crore project that will come up in Tuticorin. The company is among the 29 grid-connected solar photovoltaic power projects selected by NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam as part of the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission.The company placed orders for equipment with leading players including Solar Frontier, Japan, for photovoltaic units, and Power One from the US for inverters, with the EPC handled by the Indian arm of the US based Staten Solar.Contact: Consolidated Construction Consortium Ltd.Tel: 044-2466 1083.
