The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has urged the state government to improve the infrastructure in the state on a priority basis in order to prevent the industry from exiting the state. The central excise package has already expired in the hill state.
The industry body specifically emphasised on good road, rail and air connectivity, affordable housing and education and healthcare facilities in and around industrial areas.
