Essar to buy Trinity Coal

Essar Group is planning to acquire US-based Trinity Coal, in a deal worth Rs 2,500-2,735 crore. The acquisition would provide coking coal and thermal coal linkages for its steel mills in the US and for a power project under construction in India.
