GBIC takes IGBC´s vision ahead

The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) has plans to construct 10 bn sq ft of environment-friendly space in India by 2022 and provide a major push to offer housing for low-income group people. GBIC, which is part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), will soon start creating green school buildings. IGBC has requested corporates to adopt five government schools each in rural areas.
