With an eye on the approaching civic elections, the state government is ready to set infrastructure projects worth over Rs 1 lakh crore rolling. All these projects are Mumbai-specific and aim to decongest roads and make commuting easy. Some of these projects include the Mumbai-Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), coastal road, Colaba-Bandra-Seepz Metro III, Navi Mumbai airport, CST-Panvel and Bandra-Virar elevated corridor. Most of these projects had been delayed for want of clearances, but now all have received the required permissions and work orders are ready to be issued.
