HAL, Rolls-Royce commence construction of new facility

Hindustan Aeronautics Rolls-Royce recently commenced the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Bengaluru.This facility is owned by International Aerospace Manufacturing (IAMPL), a JV between HAL and Rolls-Royce, formed in 2010. The 7,200-sq m production facility will produce components for the advanced Trent family of civil aero engines as well as for a number of marine and energy gas turbines.
