HPL completes supermax project

Haldia Petrochemical Ltd (HPL) has completed its Rs 1,230 crore supermax expansion project, to raise the plant’s capacity from 5.2 lakh tonne per annum (tpa) to about 6.7 lakh tpa. The project was delayed by over two years leading to an increase in its cost from earlier estimate Rs 675 crore.
