Hiranandani Group to build new LNG terminal

The Hiranandani Group has plans to construct an 8 mn tonne per year LNG import facility at Jaigarh in Maharasthra. This project has been initiated to meet the growing energy demand in the state. H-Energy Gateway, a Hiranandani Group firm, has applied to sector regulator PNGRB to connect the import facility with major trunk pipelines that take gas to consumers. The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board, in a public notice had invited comments on the company´s proposal to connect the Jaigarh LNG terminal with Dahej-Uran-Dabhol-Panvel pipeline and Dabhol-Bengaluru line.
