IOC's Mathura plant to be shut in Aug-Sep

State-run Indian Oil Corp has planned to shut its 160,000 barrels per day (bpd) refinery in Mathura for maintenance for three weeks in August-September. The shutdown of the sole crude unit at the plant will mean that other secondary units will also remain idle for two to  
three weeks. The firm will also carry out minor repair works on these units if required. Key secondary units at the plant will remain offline. These will include a fluid catalytic er, hydroer, diesel hydro desulphuriser, diesel hydrotreater, continuous catalytic er, visbreaker and hydrogen units.
