JICA, IIFCL finance PPP projects

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) inked a pact with IIFCL to provide a ¥50 bn Japanese (about Rs 2,866 crore) assistance for PPP infrastructure projects.The assistance will promote PPP-based infrastructure development in non-fossil power projects through long-term finance to private, public enterprises and banks to lend to private or public enterprises for investment to viable infrastructure projects.
