KMML to set up new units

Kerala Minerals and Metals (KMML) plans to set up magnesium recovery facilities in its titanium sponge plant. It has also proposed to increase the capacity of the titanium sponge plant to around 1,000 tonne per annum. During this financial year, KMML commissioned its 500 tonne per day titanium sponge project at Chavara, near Kollam, in a JV with the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre and Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory.
