Kuwait co to invest in ONGC’s projects
Kuwait-based Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) has evinced interest in investing in two petrochemical projects driven by ONGC at Dahej and Mangalore. ONGC Petro additions Ltd (OPaL) is setting up a petrochemical project at Dahej SEZ worth Rs 12,440 crore and is expected to be commissioned in October 2012.
ONGC Mangalore Petrochemical Ltd (OMPL) is setting up aromatic unit in Mangalore SEZ to produce 920,000 tpa of paraxylene and 140,000 tpa of benzene. The plant is likely to be commissioned by end of 2010.
