MIDC acquires unused land from industries

The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) is in the process of acquiring land from those companies that are using it for non-industrial purposes. Companies also stand to lose their allotted land parcels if they keep it fallow for a number of years. Industrial lands often get locked due to inaction by the companies; MIDC has started a campaign to identify such lands.
