Maha govt invites bids for Dharavi redevelopment project

The state government agency is implementing the Dharavi Redevelopment Project has invited international competitive bids for the ambitious Rs 25,000 crore project. The largest slum pocket in the country, spread across 240 hectare, has been divided into five sectors. Sectors one to four are proposed to be developed through private builders. Selected developers will have to construct free housing for the eligible slum dwellers and occupants, including amenities and infrastructure as per the terms and conditions. All four sectors will be redeveloped separately.
