MahaMetro, Railways sign MoU

Indian Railways, Maharashtra Government and MahaMetro have signed a MoU for the planning and execution of high-speed local trains between Nagpur and four nearby towns - Bhandara, Wardha, Katol and Ramtek. With an aim to run three multiple coach units at a speed of 120 km per hour with four on each route, Indian Railways will be lending its service to MahaMetro. Meanwhile, high-speed transit project of connecting Panipat-Delhi and Delhi-Meerut are reportedly in talks.
