Orissa undertakes 14 PPP projects

The Orissa government has decided to undertake 14 projects on the PPP mode involving an expenditure of Rs 6,218.02 crore. These projects are in the sectors like commerce and transport, ports, information technology, roads and highways, biotechnology and real estate to name a few. One of the major projects, Infocity-II project is being planned over 600 acre at Janla. Some other projects in the pipeline include the Rs 480-crore Mindspace IT Park, Rs 1,000- crore, four-laning of the Sambalpur-Rourkela road involving a cost of Rs 1,483 crore, etc.
