PPCB to act against erring steel cos

Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) warned that action would be taken against steel companies that violate water and air pollution norms in the state. Recently, major violations of provisions of water (Prevention and Control of Pollution Act), 1974 and air (Prevention and Control of Pollution Act 1981), were found in nine units.
