Raigad SEZ gets a 1 yr extension

Reliance Industries has one more year to acquire land for the proposed Mumbai SEZ project near Raigad. The Board of Approval (BOA), set up under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, gave it a year's extension.The fate of the SEZ spread across around 5,000 hectare once termed amongst the largest in the country  was in limbo after the state government scrapped the land acquisition notification in February 2011. Contact: Reliance Industries Ltd.Tel: 022-2278 5000.Website: www.ril.com
