SAIL gets 13 ore mining leases

Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has been granted 13 iron ore mining leases in Jharkhand, the renewal of which is pending with the state government except for one lease – the Budhaburu lease of Chiria, for which in-principle approval has been granted. Environmental Clearance (EC) has already been obtained for three leases in the Kiriburu mine and Meghahatuburu mine and for three leases of the Chiria mine.
