Sail Ropes In Lanco to Devlop Mine

SAIL has offered the Letter of Acceptance to Lanco Infratech for developing the Tasra coal mine. Lanco will be responsible for coal extraction at the Tasra mine located at Jharia in Jharkhand, with geological reserves of about 250 mn tonne. Lanco will set up a coal washery and the development and operation of a captive power project for SAIL with a 200-300 MW capacity based on secondary products from the proposed Tasra washery.
