The Haryana Government has cleared more than 8,049 sq m of space for constructing a Software Technology Park of India (STPI) in Panchkula to the Noida-based STPI society. A memorandum of understanding will be signed between the Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation and STPI. The land will be let out for a token lease money of Re 1 for each of the 99 years. The STPI will facilitate IT-office space, data centre, high-speed data connectivity and other amenities required for software export and professional services.
