State presents Rs.1.57 lakh cr budget for 2017-18

The Andhra Pradesh Government has presented its Rs 1.57 lakh crore budget, which comprised revenue expenditure of Rs 1.26 lakh crore and capital expenditure of Rs 31,087 crore. The estimated revenue deficit was Rs 416 crore while fiscal deficit estimated at Rs 23,054 crore, 0.05 per cent and three per cent of the GSDP respectively. The budget allocated Rs 1,061 crore for the development of the new capital Amaravati.
