State soon to name contractors for solar projects

The state held an auction last month to award contracts for 80 MW of solar projects that will benefit from an assured buyer and preferential rates. It received bids for 154 MW from companies like Sunborne, Kiran Energy Solar Power, Tata Power and Atria Power, as reported by Karnataka Renewable Energy Development.
