State to prepare DPR for monorail project

In the next two months, the state government may invite tenders for preparing a detailed project report (DPR) for the proposed monorail project in Patna. Mooted during Lalu Prasad’s tenure as the railway minister, the construction cost of this mode of transportation is less compared to the metro rail, as it runs on a single line and consumes less space.
