State to set up wind power plants in four districts

The Centre for Wind Energy Technology (C-WET) will set up four wind monitoring stations (WMSs) to study the potential of harnessing wind power in the state. These stations will be set up in Pilibhit, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur and Lakhimpur districts.
