State urges gas allocation for power project in Telangana

The state has urged the Union Petroleum Ministry to allocate natural gas to the 2,100 MW gas-based power project in Karimnagar district in Telangana region. APGENCO has taken up 2,100 MW combined cycle gas based power plant in Karimnagar through a Special Purpose Vehicle. All the project related activities including land acquisition have been completed.
