The proposal for the commissioning of world´s largest solar power plant in the Rewa District has received the green signal. After being commissioned, the proposed solar park will have a total solar installed capacity of 750 MW. The deal for acquiring 1,500 hectare for the Rs 45 bn project is in the final stages.
The entire project will be finished in three tranches of 250 MW each. On the completion of the project, it is expected to generate about 1.25 bn units of power every year
