Kamat Hotels to sell land parcels to expand

Kamat Hotels India, the developers of The Orchid Hotel, plans to restructure its business operations. The Mumbai-based company has plans to sell three land par-cels in Coimbatore, Raipur and Nagpur and adopt the franchisee route for expansion. The move comes even as lenders are considering restructuring the company's debt aggregating Rs 435 crore.
