Buyers expect realty prices to drop over six months

According to a survey conducted by IIM-Bangalore and Magicbricks, homebuyers expect real estate prices to drop in the next six months. The cities covered were Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Noida and Pune. The survey stated that all the 10 cities witnessed a sharp drop in sentiments, with eight out of 10 posting over 10 per cent drop in sentiment. Ahmedabad, Delhi and Gurgaon witnessed over 25 per cent correction in sentiments compared to the previous quarter.
