Govt plans 1 lakh houses

The Ministry of Home Affairs is planning to build one lakh dwelling units for paramilitary forces on a public-private partnership basis. The first phase of the scheme will comprise 11,000 houses over four clusters including one near Delhi. The ministry is expected to provide a support of about Rs 1,000 crore to the project that will be implemented on BOT basis over a period of 15 years.
