Green nod dodges Lavasa project once again

The government is yet to provide environment clearance to the first phase of Lavasa Corporation's hill city project located near Pune. Lavasa Corporation submitted a proposal seeking environmental clearance on February 2, this year for around 2,000 ha for phase I of the hill city project. The proposal was appraised by the Expert Appraisal Committee at its various meetings and the committee recommended the proposal with certain conditions.
