MPCB and state dept select 32 agencies for village project
Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) and the State Department of Rural Development and Water Conservation have selected 32 agencies for the eco village development plan. The plan jointly undertaken by them aims at the development of villages without adversely affecting the natural resources. Of the 32 agencies selected, seven are from Pune district, two from Ahmednagar, and one each from Satara, Sangli, Solapur, Chandrapur and Jalgaon. There are also a few agencies from Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.
