Maha SEZ plan put off indefinitely

MahaMumbai special economic zone (SEZ) in Raigad has been suspended indefinitely by Mumbai SEZ Ltd as the company is not able to acquire a minimum of 1,000 hectare of contiguous land as mandated by the SEZ Act. It is now considering a gas-based power project on the land.
